Le Prestige bed and breakfast is within 45 minutes of the very popular Mont St Michel, close to the medieval towns of Fougeres and Domfront, about 1 hour 30 mins from the WW II Normandy landing beaches, Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. 1 hr 25 mins to Bayeux with its famous tapestry and just 1 hr 40 mins to Le Mans race circuit as well as many local attractions. We are situated about 1 hr 30 mins drive from Caen ferry port and about 2 hours from Cherbourg ferry port. Dinan airport is 1 hr and 15 mins and Rennes airport is 1 hr drive away.
The small town of Buais is only 2 ½ miles (3 mins drive).
Le Teilleul is a local town worth visiting which is only 4 miles (5 mins).
The local popular town of St Hilaire du Harcouet where there are lots of thriving shops and places to eat and drink is only 9 miles (10 mins drive). Also the river La Selune on the outskirts of St Hilaire du Harcouet is worth a visit.
The beautiful town of Mortain with its petite and grande cascades is only 13 miles (15 mins) away.
There are golf courses at the nearby towns of Bagnoles de L’Orne 29 miles (40 mins), Vire 27 miles (35 mins) and Flers 29 miles (45 mins).
There are also plenty of fishing lakes around for the fishing enthusiasts.
